Navigating ESSA™

The reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965 as the “Every Student Succeeds Act” (ESSA) makes major changes to Title I, Part A and other titled programs as they were defined under “No Child Left Behind” (NCLB).

​Dr. Boese has a comprehensive grasp of ESSA and a clear understanding of specific nuts-and-bolts requirements and opportunities it brings to LEA and school-level programs and practices.

The “Navigating ESSA Workshop” will clearly and effectively address your questions and concerns.

I can deliver this Workshops as day-long sessions that would include the following:

• A PowerPoint (PPT) presentation, with hand-outs of the PPT for taking notes
• Frequent checking for understanding and time for questions
• Supplemental hand-outs for group activities
• Resource materials to support optimum local implementation of ESSA programs

Title I, Part A & Other Federal Programs for Maximizing Student Outcome-TA Workshop

This Fall of 2025, I am offering a Technical Asssistance (TA) Workshop on Title I, Part A and Other Federal Programs for maximzing student outcomes using evidence-based strategies for educationally disadvantages student groups.

I wll be reaching out the County Offices of Education to host this TA Workshop at their sites and asking them to invite educators from LEAs and schools in their County and Region.
