Knowledge and Understanding
This workshop is designed to provide Title I LEA and school staff and other stakeholders with clear knowledge and understanding of the following:
- Title I, Part A as a federal program and funding source in the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) for eligible LEAs and schools
- ESSA Title I, Part A LEA requirements, Title I Schoolwide Program (SWP) and Targeted Assistance School (TAS) requirements, and fiscal requirements regarding the use of these supplement funds
- How to prepare for a successful FPM CE Review of your Title I, Part A programs
- How to meet CE Instrument item requirements pertaining to Title I, Part A during FPM reviews
- Maximizing use of Title I, Part A funds allocated through the Consolidated Application Reporting System (CARS) for addressing the needs of disadvantaged students
